Claypot - Aquaplants is a water plant store started and managed by a mother and son who have expertise in water plant understanding and cultivation which include water lily and lotus. We research for overall development of the plants subjected to various environmental conditions in India. Our main goal is to spread its knowledge and make spaces beautiful. Our Plant Store believes in creating a more sustainable earth for everyone, which is why we encourage everyone to add a little green to their lives. Our Story
From a Mother’s Gardening Experiment to a Growing Community of Aquatic Plant Lovers
What began with my mother Vani’s simple gardening experiment during the pandemic soon turned into an unexpected passion for lotus and waterlilies. From a damaged parcel and one surviving Keylargo leaf to building a collection of 350+ varieties and a community of aquatic-plant growers across India, Claypot Aquaplants has grown one bloom at a time.
But there’s much more to the story — including how a Mechanical Engineer, son of an agriculuturist, and a little “Claypot” grew into what we are today.
